There are many reasons why you might want to use an iPhone spy app. We have touched on this subject a few times before, but today we will concentrate on the safety of children and teens.
Kids and their iPhones

Nowadays, it seems that kids want a phone almost as soon as they are born – and teenagers spend more time on their phone than they spend talking face to face!

One other thing that teenagers in particular want – is the latest gadget. This is where the iPhone comes in. If your children don’t want an iPhone right now, they are either two years old – or they already have one.

And this is where iPhone spy apps come in.

By installing an iPhone spy app on an iPhone, you are able to see where it is at any time, and what’s more you will be able to see who the phone’s user is talking to, and who they are texting. You will even be able to read their emails.

Most importantly of all, you will know that they are where they say they are – and will know that they are not in danger.
Why buy an iPhone Spy App

Did you ever wonder where your children are?
Teenage daughter

Lets say it’s late, and your teenage daughter said that she was just going to the mall – but it’s already near midnight, and still no sign of her. How can you know for sure where she is? Sure you could call her and ask, and she will just say she’s with her girlfriends at the mall. But is she telling the truth? Does she hang out with guys until late? What are they doing together?

How much would it be worth to you, to be able to track her iPhone’s GPS receiver? Or better still – to be able to call her phone in absolute secrecy, and listen to its surroundings? Your daughter would never know that you were checking on her, and you would know the truth.
Young son

What if it’s late and your son took his car out with his friends. Where did he go? Who is he with? What is he doing?

If you had installed an iPhone spy app on his phone, it would be simple to see exactly where he is. You could call his phone and listen to its surroundings to see who is there! These apps operate in complete secrecy, and he would never know that you were checking on him. And in return, you know the absolute truth of what is happening.
Finally – which app to choose?

Depending on how much you need to know, you can use any of the three iPhone Spy Apps for this purpose.

* If you just want the basics, or if you are on a tight budget, you probably want Mobile Spy. This is a basic package, available for 3 months, 6 months or a full year. It allows you to see where the iPhone is located, as well as telling you the numbers of anyone who calls (or is called), and allows you to see the numbers of text-partners, as well as allowing you to read all text messages and see which web links the user open in Safari. Please note: if purchased for a full year, you will receive the excellent SniperSpy PC spy program – which allows you to keep an eye on a computer – absolutely free! Watch how it is being used as clearly as if it was right in front of you. This software usually costs $79.97, and will be yours for free when you purchase Mobile Spy for a full year.

If you feel that you need to see more information, both Flexispy and Spyera SPYPhone Silver and Gold editions have more features at a higher cost. All packages are available for a full year.

Flexispy has four versions for the iPhone:

* Flexispy Basic has all the features of Mobile Spy (except for the ability to see web links), and is available for 3 months, 6 months or a full year. It allows you to keep track of all calls and SMS messages, and to see the location of the iPhone. Additionally, all numbers are cross-referenced with the contact list, giving you the name as well as the number of the people being called/texted.
* Flexispy Light has all the features of Flexispy Basic, and it can also monitor email messages, and can be remotely controlled by SMS. Flexispy Light is available for a full year.
* Flexispy Pro has all the features of Flexispy Light, and also allows you to use the iPhone as a listening device (bug). This version also has SIM change notification, to alert you when a new SIM card is put in the iPhone. It also tells you the new number! Flexispy Pro is available for a full year.
* Flexispy Pro X has all the features of Flexispy Pro, and also allows you to listen to live phone calls – as they are happening! Flexispy Pro X is available for a full year.

This software gives parents a safeguard against the overall challenges and dangers of a child having their own cell phone, including sexting.

With sexting on the rise, many parents need to know what their child is doing on their cell phone. But simply knowing what they’re doing isn’t enough. Certain activities may need to be blocked. Mobile Nanny allows parents to see everything their child does and block any disallowed activities. Complete text messages, call histories and GPS logs are viewable to parents online or inside an interface on the device itself.

The software allows parents to filter out activities they don’t want to happen. The parent can block their child from communicating with specific phone numbers. Any phone number can be blocked from SMS and call communication. Specific websites and applications on the phone can also be blocked. The child can additionally be restricted from using the phone at certain hours the parent specifies, such as during school hours.

The software silently runs in the background after every start of the phone. To access the interface, the parent clicks an icon and enters their password. The program can also be fully hidden if the parent requires covert monitoring. As activities happen, the program silently uploads logs to the parent’s private account, which they check online without needing access to the phone.

“For many parents, giving their child a cell phone becomes a dilemma due to the abuse of the privilege. Mobile Nanny gives the edge back to parents so they can make sure their kids are staying on the right track,” states James Johns, CEO of Retina-X Studios.

This hybrid software and service are now available for phones running the Windows Mobile 6.x Standard or Professional operating system. The product can be found in the Official Windows Mobile Catalog and at the website

About Retina-X Studios: RXS designs and develops tools that let users monitor their individual PC, network or smartphone.Retina-X Studios products have been mentioned by CNN, CBS News, BBC, Reader’s Digest, Computer Shopper, PC World and other media outlets.

Ultimately, Lacroce addresses how authorities should handle such controversies.

The big question for society is what type of punishment should someone involved in this receive? The law states that if the person possessing the text is convicted, they are accussed of the same type of crime as any pedophile caught possessing child pornography.

While most can agree that sexting is wrong and doubly wrong for a minor, the punishment does not fit the crime.

A minor convicted of sexting should not receive similar treatment as a pedophile with child porn. Yet the minor could be registered as a sex offender for a period of at least 10 years. It is akin to taking a person with a moving violation and giving him the same sentence as a person convicted of drunken driving.

Not long afterward it was reported that Pennsylvania legislators were drafting a bill to address the issue, stating that there currently is no “sexting” offense. Though there is no word yet to the extent of the punishment, there will reportedly be an “educational” component for those who engage in such acts.

Pennsylvania is not the only state dealing with these issues. In Milwaukee, a 14-year-old is facing child porn charges after he threatened to spread rumors about about a group of girls unless they sent him nude pictures of themselves. The case is currently being debated in that area over the extent of the punishment.

Other incidents include:

A teenager in Indiana faces felony obscenity charges for sending a picture of his genitals to female classmates. A 15-year-old girl in Ohio and a 14-year-old girl in Michigan were charged with felonies for sending along nude images of themselves to classmates. These seem to be cases where the natural response is, “What were you thinking!?” not, “This person is a child pornographer!”

Of course there are other ways to police the issue. A new cell phone software application called Mobile Nanny was just released, which allows “parents to see everything their child does and block any disallowed activities. Complete text
messages, call histories and GPS logs are viewable to parents online or inside an interface on the device itself.”

Though clever, applications like these won’t likely serve as a longtime solution to the sexting problem.
